SBI Home Loans Eligibility 

  • Minimum age: 18 years as on the date of sanction
  • Maximum age: 70 years. i.e. the age by which the loan should be fully repaid, subject to availability of a sufficient, regular and continuous source of income for servicing the loan repayment.

SBI Home Loan Repayment period: Maximum 30 years (or) Up to the age of 70 years (the age by which the loan should be fully repaid) of the borrower, whichever is early.

Moratorium period (Repayment holiday): The moratorium period is included within the maximum repayment period.

SBI Home Loans Documents Required

  1. Completed loan application
  2. 3 Passport size photographs
  3. Proof of identify (photo copies of Voters ID card/ Passport/ Driving
  4. licence/ IT PAN card)
  5. Proof of residence (photo copies of recent Telephone Bills/ Electricity Bill/
  6. Property tax receipt/ Passport/ Voters ID card)
  7. Proof of business address for non-salaried individuals
  8. Statement of Bank Account/ Pass Book for last six months
  9. Signature identification from present bankers
  10. Personal Assets and Liabilities statement

Documents Required For guarantor (wherever applicable):

  1. Personal Assets and Liabilities Statement
  2. 2 passport size photographs
  3. Proof of identification as above
